Recently, I have been thinking of more creative ways to help raise money for diabetes research. 'We Are The Type Ones' is my first project.
'We Are The Type Ones' is a collection of poems and observations that try to give others an idea of what it's like to live with the condition. It's not all doom and gloom but there is one about having a hypo during sex.
Besides getting the work published, it is my plan to have celebrity diabetic Halle Berry read the audiobook. However if she's not
available, it'll probably be Steve Redgrave or Gary Mabbutt.
The writing isn't quite finished but I can share this 'demo' about trying to avoid sugary treats in the office. Think of it as your free download.
